- Access - See all data we have about you
- Correct - Fix inaccurate information
- Delete - Remove your data permanently
- Export - Download your data in a portable format
- Restrict - Limit how we use your data
What Data We Collect
Account Information
- Name and email address
- Profile information you provide
- Payment information (securely stored by our payment processor)
Learning Data
- Courses and content you access
- Flashcard progress and quiz scores
- AI tutoring conversations
- Notes and created content
- Time spent learning
Usage Data
- Features you use
- Device and browser information
- General location (country/region)
Voice Data (If Enabled)
- Voice recordings for transcription
- These are processed and deleted after transcription
How We Use Your Data
- Provide and improve our learning services
- Personalize your learning experience
- Track progress and generate insights
- Send relevant communications (based on your preferences)
- Ensure platform security
Privacy Controls
Manage your privacy settings at Settings → Privacy:
Profile Visibility
- Private - Only you can see your profile
- Friends - Visible to connections
- Public - Visible to all users
Learning Activity
- Show or hide your activity from others
- Control leaderboard visibility
- Manage achievement sharing
Communications
- Manage email preferences
- Control push notifications
- Opt out of marketing
Exporting Your Data

Go to Settings → Privacy → Export Data

Select what to export (all data or specific categories)

Click "Request Export"

You'll receive a download link by email (usually within 24 hours)
Deleting Your Data
To delete your data:
- Specific data - Delete individual items (notes, conversations) from within the app
- All learning data - Request full data deletion in Settings → Privacy
- Full account - Delete your account entirely (Settings → Account → Delete)
Note: Deleting data is permanent and cannot be undone. Some data may be retained
for legal or security reasons as described in our Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
For children under 13:
- Parental consent is required
- We collect only necessary data
- Social features are disabled by default
- Parents can review and delete child data
- No targeted advertising
Data Security
We protect your data with:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Regular security audits
- Access controls and monitoring
- Secure data centers
Third-Party Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers - To operate our platform (hosting, payments, analytics)
- Teachers - If you're enrolled in a class (learning data only)
- Parents - For child accounts in a family

AI and Your Data
Regarding AI tutoring:
- Conversations are used to provide responses
- We may use anonymized data to improve our AI
- You can opt out of AI training in Settings → Privacy
- You can delete conversation history at any time
