Billing

Manage your subscription, credits, and billing history

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment provider (Stripe):

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay (on supported devices)
  • Google Pay (on supported devices)
Note: All payment management is handled securely through Stripe's billing portal. Click "Manage in Stripe" from Settings → Billing to update payment methods.

Managing Your Payment Method

To add or update your payment method:

Go to Settings → Billing

Click "Manage in Stripe" button

You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure billing portal

Add, update, or remove payment methods as needed

Billing Cycle

Your billing cycle depends on when you subscribed:

  • Monthly - Charged on the same date each month
  • Annual - Charged once per year on your subscription anniversary

Credits

Credits are used for various features in Cocovox:

  • Subscription Credits - Included monthly with your plan, reset each billing cycle
  • Purchased Credits - Additional credits you buy, valid for 60 days from purchase

View your credit balance and recent activity in Settings → Billing.

Buying Additional Credits

To purchase more credits:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click "Buy Credits"
  3. Select a credit pack
  4. Complete checkout securely through Stripe

Viewing Invoices

Access your billing history:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Scroll to the Invoices section
  3. Click on any invoice to view or download as PDF

Invoices include all the details needed for expense reporting or tax purposes.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • You'll see a warning banner across the app
  • A notification will appear when you log in
  • We'll send you an email notification
  • You have 14 days to update your payment method

To resolve a failed payment:

  1. Click "Update Payment" from the warning banner
  2. Or go to Settings → Billing → "Manage in Stripe"
  3. Update your card in the Stripe portal

Refunds

Our refund policy:

  • Within 7 days - Full refund for first-time subscribers
  • Annual plans - Prorated refund within 30 days
  • Monthly plans - Generally not refunded, but contact support for exceptions

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@cocovox.ai
  2. Include your account email and reason for refund
  3. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

Promo Codes and Discounts

Promo codes can be applied during checkout. If you have a discount code:

  1. Start the subscription or credit purchase process
  2. Enter your code in the checkout form
  3. The discount will be applied automatically
Note: Promo codes cannot be combined. Some codes are for new subscribers only and won't work on existing subscriptions.

Tax Information

Sales tax is calculated based on your billing address as required by local laws. Tax details appear on your invoice.

Currency

All prices are in USD. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees for non-USD cards.

Enterprise and School Billing

For School plans, we offer:

  • Purchase orders
  • Invoice billing (NET 30)
  • Annual contracts
  • Custom invoicing

For billing issues, contact support@cocovox.ai with your account email. Include invoice numbers or transaction IDs when applicable.
